FAQ

Coaching is a no-judgement, no-pressure space where we work together to figure out what you actually want from life — and how to get there. It’s not therapy, and it’s not me telling you what to do. It’s a partnership. I ask the right questions, you bring the real-life stuff, and together we make a plan that feels doable, empowering, and actually works for you. Think of me as your straight-talking cheerleader — here to support you, challenge you (kindly), and keep you moving forward.

Coaching is future-focused. It’s about setting goals, taking action, and building a life that feels more like you. We look at where you are now, where you want to be, and how to get there — with a bit of structure, accountability, and a good dose of encouragement.
Therapy, on the other hand, often dives into the past — working through trauma, emotional wounds, or mental health challenges that might need deeper healing.
That’s not to say we won’t ever talk about your past in coaching — we might, if it’s getting in the way of your progress — but we won’t unpack it for the sake of it. This space is about moving forward, not digging backwards. -
The core of coaching stays the same — it’s about helping you get where you want to be. But the way we get there can look a little different depending on what you’re dealing with. If you’re navigating ADHD, we might focus more on structure, planning, and working with your brain, not against it. If chronic illness is part of your story, we’ll look at pacing, mindset, and how to build a life that supports your health, not drains it. Life coaching ties it all together — it’s about clarity, confidence, and making changes that stick. So yes, there’s a difference in approach, but the goal is always the same: helping you feel more in control of your own life.

First, we get a good look at where you are right now — what’s working, what’s not, and what you actually want life to look like. Then we set clear, doable goals and come up with a plan that fits you, not some cookie-cutter version of success. From there, we meet regularly to keep things moving — checking in on progress, shifting strategies if needed, and keeping you accountable without the pressure. There’s loads that happens in between, of course — mindset shifts, lightbulb moments, real talk — but that’s the top and bottom of it. It’s about support, focus, and figuring it out together.
-
Honestly? That’s completely fine. You don’t need to have it all figured out before we start. Coaching is a space to explore what matters most to you — even if you don’t know what that is yet.
Through honest chats, thoughtful questions, and a bit of gentle digging, we’ll start uncovering your values, priorities, and the stuff that really lights a fire under you.
Sometimes you just know something needs to change, but you’ve no idea what or how — that’s where I come in. Together, we’ll figure it out step by step, in a way that feels clear and doable. -
Anyone who wants to make a change but isn’t sure how to get there on their own.
Whether you're feeling stuck, overwhelmed, curious about what’s next, or just craving a bit of clarity, coaching gives you the space, support, and tools to move forward. You don’t need to have a big plan or a ‘fix-me’ list — just a willingness to explore what’s possible. -
Each session is a no-pressure, judgment-free space where you can show up exactly as you are. We'll talk about what’s going on, what you want to shift, and what’s getting in the way. I’ll ask the right questions, offer fresh perspectives, and help you get clear on your next steps.
Think of it like a focused chat with a friend — one who’s trained to keep you moving forward (and won't let you dodge your own brilliance). -
Mental health is a huge part of the work I do — because let’s be real, if your head’s all over the place, it’s hard to make any kind of progress. Coaching isn’t therapy, but that doesn’t mean we ignore the emotional stuff. We look at how your mental well-being affects your daily life, your goals, your energy… and we find ways to make things feel a bit more manageable. It’s about building resilience, confidence, and clarity — not pretending everything’s fine when it’s not. You don’t need to have it all together to start coaching. You just need to be ready to look at what’s going on and take small, steady steps forward.

That depends on you—some people come for a quick boost, others stay longer for deeper support. We’ll check in regularly to make sure it’s still working for you.

A discovery call is a free 30-minute chat where we get to know each other. It’s your chance to ask questions, talk through what you're looking for, and see if coaching with me feels like the right fit. No pressure, no sales pitch — just a relaxed conversation to help you decide if we click.
-
Yes — 100%. Everything we talk about stays between us. I stick to clear ethical guidelines to make sure you feel safe, supported, and able to speak freely. This is your space, and your privacy is always respected.
-
It’s all about the vibe. Look for someone whose style feels like a good fit, and don’t be afraid to trust your gut. Most coaches (like me!) offer a free discovery call, so take the chance to chat and see if you click. The right coach will make you feel understood, supported, and like you’ve got someone truly in your corner.

Life coaching can support you in pretty much any area where you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or ready for change. That might mean getting clear on your purpose, setting personal or career goals, building confidence, navigating relationships, boosting productivity, or managing stress. Basically—if it’s part of your real life, we can work on it. Some coaches have specialisms too—mine are ADHD, chronic illness, and mental health.
-
All sessions are online, which means we can connect from wherever you are—PJs and cuppa totally acceptable. If you’re local and would prefer to meet in person, just get in touch and we can chat about options.
-
No worries at all—life happens! If you’ve got a holiday coming up or need to pause for any reason, just give me a heads-up and we’ll shift things around. Coaching is meant to fit into your life, not stress you out.
-
Nope :) Everything is clearly outlined upfront—no hidden costs, no surprise extras. What you see is what you pay.
-
Absolutely. That’s what the Power Hour is for—a one-off session to see how it feels and what you get out of it.
-
Yes—accessibility matters. If you’d like to split payments, we can work something out that fits.
